ART AUCTION
As a nonprofit organization, Desotorow Gallery relies heavily on contributed funds. Art for Art's Sake is the gallery's largest fundraising event, and supports the daily operations of the gallery as well as the creation of new programs designed to reach out to the Savannah community. Held in May of each year, this silent art auction has featured work by local and nationally-known artists. Artists featured at past auctions include Scott Griffin (recognized by Savannah Magazine as a "Rising Star"), Carrie Christian (published in "New American Paintings"), and Preston Orr (represented by Robert Steele Gallery in New York).

In addition to incredible works of art, auction items often include packages donated by local businesses. Past particpating business have included Vanilla Day Spa and Salon Jolie.
